What We Offer

Whatever size space you have we can help you to make it the best it can be. We offer a full design service from concept design through to completion, as well as planting design and also consultation should you wish to develop the space yourself. We work with other experts to deliver you a brilliant garden, and we provide high quality garden care as well as tuition to ensure that your new green space grows and thrives as it should.

Initial Consultation / Site Visit

After the first contact and a chat on the phone we can arrange to visit you to see your outside space and discuss exactly how you would like to use it. We will then send you a written note of our discussions (a design brief) and a proposal clearly outlining the design costs and the budget we have discussed.

Garden Survey & Analysis

Your garden will need to be measured, analysed and drawn to scale. For larger/complex gardens a chartered surveyor will be needed.

Design

The design process usually includes all of these elements, but might be tweaked to suit your project;

Concept layout plan
3D visuals
Detailed construction drawings and setting out plans
Lighting plan
Written specification for tender
Detailed planting plan

Tender Process/Construction stage

Once all of the details have been finalised it will be time to obtain prices. We can suggest a number of landscape contractors to quote for the build of the garden and compare their prices for you. We will then work closely with your chosen landscaper and any other suppliers/contractors to make the design come to life.

Planting

Trees and plants will be sourced from high quality and trusted nurseries, making visits to select feature specimens. The planting will be carried out by our team of trusted, experienced gardeners and plants-people. If necessary we may enlist the help of the landscape contractor or another specialist to assist with the planting of large trees and shrubs.

Aftercare

Soon after completion we will return to check on your garden and can then provide ongoing aftercare to ensure your new space develops as it should. We also love helping our clients to learn new skills via one-to-one sessions, so that you can enjoy looking after the garden yourself.

So how much will my new garden cost?

We will discuss this and set a realistic budget range at the initial meeting. It really depends on many factors including what you want from the garden, which materials you would like, how complex the design is and the size and current condition of the garden.

As a guide, our garden designs typically cost between £12,000-£80,000 to build and plant. Our fees for the design process depend on many factors, but usually range from 10-15% of the total cost. Every project is unique and our proposal will be tailored to suit you following our initial meeting and discussions.

We also offer a garden development service when a full design service is not needed or not possible. Please get in touch with some photos and we can discuss your project over the phone!
